ANNUAL EVENTS CALENDAR

Members have access to our annual events calendar. Here are some of our annual favorites. Please also check out the pop-up events section below, and check out our gallery, coming soon.

August

BOO HOO/YAHOO BACK-TO-SCHOOL BRUNCH

Back-to-School Boo-hoo/Yahoo Brunch

Whether you’re shedding a tear or are happy the kids are returning to school, gather with other members for brunch after school drop off to celebrate or commiserate. A great way to check-in after a busy summer. All members are welcome regardless of if you have a kid in school or not.

August

Welcome/Farewell Brunch

Our first large event for the year is for all members aging out, new members joining, and invited alumni. We gather at a winery and host a mimosas bar, pastries, and more. Last year we had a themed tea brunch with fascinators and a “make your own bouquet” bar. Outgoing council makes remarks and new council introduced.

Las Madres Yard Sale

A children-focused yard sale put on by members, featuring clothes for all ages, shoes, gear, books, and toys. Maternity and postpartum items too. Last year we added a kid entrepreneur component, allowing kids to sell their own homemade goods. A portion of proceeds goes to Las Madres and the rest goes to the individual member based on sales. Members get first dibs, at our members only early access. e.

October

Trunk-or-Treat

Enjoy a family event where members decorate their trunks, everyone dresses up, kids play at the park, and everyone enjoys treats. Kids take home a pumpkin! Prizes awarded for different categories of decorations.

December

Holiday Party

Celebrate the end of the year with moms at our annual mom’s night holiday party. We have hosted themed parties, white elephant gifts.

Photos with Santa

Enjoy a cozy afternoon of kid crafts and treats while you wait to take pictures with our very own Santa. Appointment slots available for members for free.

Season of Giving Drive

Members adopt a local non-profit for the holidays and donate items. We have collected Toys for Tots, have gathered to craft to make baby blankets, and have collected post-partum and baby items for local women organization

Gilroy Holiday Parade

Members design a theme for a float, and all member families are welcome to join the float and walk the parade.

February

Galentine’s Party

A fun opportunity to celebrate motherhood and friendship. We have done themed gathering (pajama and spa night, paint night, game night, etc.)

April

Spring Fling

Las Madres hosts a picnic for the whole family. Enjoy lunch, and various kid-friendly activities. In the past we set-up a bounce house, face painting, bubbles, and crafts.

May

Mother’s Day Celebration

Members celebrate their special day, and council puts together a small gift to deliver on Mother’s Day.

June

End of Year Family Picnic

a year-end family event with pizza, face painting, bubbles, warm weather, and lots of children running around. We say goodbye to the children moving on to kindergarten. Members aging out are honored at our August Farewell Brunch.

POP-UP EVENTS

All members are invited to host an event, and make the social club yours. Every year our pop-up events vary based on membership participation. We have re-occurring monthly gatherings, and some sprinkled special events. Below you will find examples of some events scheduled.
